Time Away Not Showing On My Listings

I'm currently on Time Away, but the notice is not showing as such on my individual listings. The notice shows on my store though.

I've messaged the buyers who've purchased with me today to ask them if they saw any notice of me being away on the listing (thinking maybe it's just a "seller view" issue) but the ones that responded have said they didn't see a notice.

This wasn't an issue last time I used Time Away, and I guess it's not really an issue this time, since I also extended my handling time to help give me a buffer, but it's annoying to know that most buyers will not know I am away (since most probably won't check the store before buying).

I thought that it may be because I was running promotions (which I wasn't last time) so I tried pausing them all, but that didn't change anything. Could it be because of the extended handling time? But if that was so, why would it show on my store?

Anyone have any ideas?

I'm 100% away tomorrow, so I guess I'll just message any buyers to let them know that I am actually away and ask them what they'd want to do (cancel, go through with the order, etc.). You'd think the extended handling time would give them a heads up, but I'm not relying on that to 100% protect me from buyers who get mad I don't ship an item within a week's time.

When I check your individual listings I see that you will be away until Dec. 27.

(Some times) if you are logged in to you seller account eBay knows you are the
seller and they don't show you the same as what a buyer sees when they look
at your listings.

@else-bay

It shows up just fine.  This is what I see at the top of your listing:

The seller is away until Dec 27, 2022. If you buy this item, expect a delay in shipping.

Ah, ok. That's good to know, thanks. What's funny is I tired on Chrome & DuckDuckGo & I didn't see any notice, but maybe that's because I wasn't signed in as any user at all?

Time Away Not Showing On My Listings

I do not see time away on any of your listings showing this. ......as the whole reason for the discount is to receive the item by Christmas. So time away would be wrong to use for those listings.

@else-bay

Weird...it doesn't.

Just verified that on my end too. Firefox browser.

But...I found that any sale that you have multiple listings in one sale with a dropdown box...those do not have a time-away.

The sales that are single listings. They have time-away.

Weird weird.

Hey Else-bay

It was the same one that @eunster1313 posted.  I just checked a few more and they all say the same.  Away until the 27th posted right at the top.

Have a great weekend.

Yeah, that promo ends tonight at 11:30PM. I'm not out the door till tomorrow, so I can still ship anything that was bought today tomorrow. At least that was my mindset.

Funny, because the other guy that replied to me showed a screenshot of such a listing with the notice showing...

I'll just follow up with any buyers to ensure they know I'm out of town and ask if they want to cancel or keep the order I guess...sucks that this isn't just uniformly put up on all my listings...thanks eBay.

Thanks for checking more listings. What's weird is different users are apparently not seeing the notice on listings others see it on. IDK...

I guess I'll just follow up with any buyers to ensure they know I'm out of town & ask if they want to keep the order or not. 🤷‍♂️
