Boy that was a good read. All the comments too. Been on ebay since 01. After the new year, I'm re opening my shop on another platform and out of spite will take my buying else where. Over night ebay had messed up My Ebay. Getting all kinds of weird stuff. I wish they would mind their own business, or should I say, take care of THEIR business correctly. Instead of telling me what I want to buy. How to price, sell and ship. Mind your own business ebay. And until you do YOUR job right, leave us alone. touche'

Nice. I just notice peaks and valleys with eBay....I think the major problem is oversaturation/other marketplaces. I can go months with nothing, and then all of a sudden make $1000 in a week. It's all about what I have to sell, and if it's in a saturated market or not....Sellers that have been selling the same stuff for years are logically going to see a decline in sales as trends shift, and people just...move on... There are different things to buy and sell - niches. I've dabbled in a few, and have had very good success. I am a hobby seller at the most, but I keep a full tank of gas in the car, and keep on trukin

Should be very interesting to see what kind of spin ebay puts on the 3rd quarter earnings. They'll be out in a couple of hours, after ebay delayed the reporting by nearly 2 weeks. I'm sure there will be blame placed everywhere but ebay's own decisions.

Interesting that there is an investigation into possible "misleading" (to investors) comments made by eBay management right before (the usual) 3rd qtr reports. Very interesting, indeed. (Link in one of the comments after the 'letter'.)
