Listed Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille Eau De Parfum 8.5 fl oz 250ml & received an email that evening stating, "This determination was made using automation or artificial intelligence. This came to our attention through automated detection." Contacted e-Bay and said getting a printed receipt will help. I have read in numerous places that a printed receipt won't help because that can also be "faked." I also had New in Box TOM FORD OUD WOOD 3.4 oz 100 ML Eau De Parfum Sealed back in 2023. I have sold countless Tom Ford Eau de Parfums over the years. Why are these getting pulled & not the others? I receive these items from reputable sources. In researching completed listings on eBay, there are quite a few listings that have sold. So why does mine get flagged? Right now I have 2 strikes against me & now scared that 1 more will permanently close my account. I have been selling for many years. What's a girl to do? Any help or suggestions you have will be greatly appreciated

@dhead59 I would have eBay call you, via the Help links. I successfully fought & won a Counterfeit takedown, 2 weeks ago. You'll have to ask them if you can send the receipt, I'm not sure if it will work. I can tell you though not to argue that there are others for sale. If they feel it's fake, the fact there are others won't matter. It's kind of like getting a speeding ticket, the cops don't catch everyone, every single time.

Selling women's beauty products like perfume are fraught with peril as the cost to the original company is pennies and the profit margins are sky high. Bottom line is that these companies do not want you to sell their products and tale sales away from their authorized dealers.
