Just got my " A " chewed out from a potential customer,  and yes they have been blocked!

They found a Google listing that stated free shipping,  but when sent to eBay from Google,  my listing states FREIGHT SHIPPING , NOT FREE SHIPPING!

The customer called me a liar, so explained I do not put anything on Google , that is ALL eBay,  to draw customers to eBay, HHHHMMMMMM

Anyone else run into this ????  Been here a long time and this is the first one i have run into.

Can you post the item # @whiteyswrecking? I want to see if I can replicate the Google Shopping results.

the thumbnail (when you click shopping) does in fact designate free shipping when you "hover" over the picture/listing.....

The only thing I can guess is that shipping (on the listing) is not a "designated" or calculated type of shipping???? (don't know if you can calculate or flat rate freight)

--------------

Services available: Freight - Check the item description or contact the seller for details

Ships to: United States

Yep. Google Shopping page shows Free Delivery while your listing shows Freight. There isn't even a free local pickup option which is sometimes the cause of a Free Delivery display.

Can you send this to the team that deals with Google tyler@ebay? Freight shipping is being incorrectly translated as Free Delivery. Item 165180772121

@whiteyswrecking

I'm not sure if it has anything to do with google but if has been a known issue

for years with the eBay app for mobile phones to randomly show the buyers

free shipping when the listing does not.

ALL the time.

Send offers and the first option showing is free shipping local pick-up. So many buyers get ticked off thinking I offer free domestic shipping but I don't and never will.

The bigger issue is often times, if we search our listings on Google Shopping, the links to OUR LISTINGS will end up taking us to a different seller of a "similar item" and/or a default "product" page that doesn't even show all of our listing information!

I have no idea why eBay's system works like this. But it's quite frustrating that they will often times market with our images, and it won't even be to our listing...

And speaking of issues as the above poster mentioned with local pick up... If we try to add items to a promotion with free shipping, for some reason eBay's system changes ALL the listings to "local pick up only"! We had to manually fix thousands of listings because eBay "lost" all of the shipping information and replaced it with local pick up, and we can't just do a bulk fix because it varies from item to item...

There's some major issues in eBay's promotional systems.
