This Store Does Not Exist!

Sorry, this store does not exist.

This is the message ebay gives me when I click on my store icon. I've tried it several times. Why am I paying for a subscription that doesn't exist?

I see 2799 listings in your store.

Everyone has options. Just be sure the best option is right for you.

I wonder why you still have the old store layout? Do you have custom pages or html?

2798 items - I see your store - wonder if their changes have affected the way Seller's see their own store.  Very strange - someone else noted they did not see theirs either.  Not sure what to say - Seems after April 24th Weird things have been happening (not sure if they are related to the Alyden transition, or to the influx of seller's cancelling their store or re-opening some)..........and Ebay will NEVER tell us - I know one thing - about 6 of us (friends and Family) have had nothing sell since around the 11th of this Month. THank Goodness for other venues where things are STILL selling.  And only 5 days left in the month.

I hope your sales are still strong!

custom pages or HTMl. Yes on the HTML. A subscription I paid for through ebay, called ecommerceplayer, which allows my customers to hear the actual record they are buying. Unfortunately, ebay decided it ws bad and shut all the players with active content down. A big long horror story that I paid for! The new players do not have active content. Not for love or money, will I go through all those listing to change it, only to have ebay decide again that they are going to shut them down. Which they have done again and again. That would be countless, wasted hours.

 I've noticed it only give me the "This store does no exist" message, when I click on the actual store icon from certain pages. For example, if I am in my ebay messages and click on my store icon I will get that message every time. If I am viewing one of my items and click on "Visit Store" it will show my store.

Disappearing descriptions are likely due to HTML being too deeply nested and that seem to disappear only Firefox browsers. The nesting occurs when sellers create a bunch of listings using sell-similar, where each is a copy of the last. In that scenario, eBay's added font wrappers are iterated, ad infinitum. Any sellers with that problem should visit me on the Active Content forum for advice, since this is a repairable situation:

I've also spoke to you before about active content, and there was no solution, other than to go through every listing and change it. That is futile since ebay keeps changing their minds and ecommerceplayer can't keep up with ebay changing the rules at a drop of a hat.

@talisman778

I remember the problem with ecommerceplayer. Their video upgrade to a compliant version could not be revised in bulk, since there was no possible correlation between the old and the new.

Are the disappearing listings your own or other sellers? Do you have a link to one that disappears?

My listings. I do not have a link at this time. When I find them, I either correct or end it.

I scanned your listings and here are the two that have, by far, the most nested font tags and those could pose problems in the future. Don't use them to sell similar. You might want to proactively clear out the font tags.

For the store link problem, what page has the link that fails to get to the store? eBay has three different store links to deal with until all stores are converted, so they probably missed a few links.

I have no idea what you are talking about when you say font tage. Those two listings do not have the active content.
