The exact same post that I have on FBM, has 251 views.  On eBay?  6 !!  lol  eBay is worldwide.  My FBM is local.  How do the 2 compare?  Yet........eBay seems 'Mickey Mouse.'   I guess the choice is simple.  Depend on the place where you get the visitors & pay zero fees.   🙂

Visitors and $7.50 will get you a cafe latte at Starbucks.

Comparing the 2 is like apples & oranges. FBM, from what I have heard, is about to start charging a listing fee or a monthly fee. I believe FBM are page clicks, meaning that you are lumped into a group of posts until it's pushed to the second page as the first page receives more posts. My local platform Kingwood.com is like that as the listing stays on the first page until it gets moved to the second page as more listings are added. It's like Hartungcards said "Visitors and $7.50 will get you a cafe latte at Starbucks." I can assure you Ebay is ranked behind Ama%on not FBM. My sales are far greater, not even a comparison, here than FBM.

How does Facebook define “view”? If it means your ad showed up in someone’s feed, that’s obviously quite different from an eBay view.

Hi, do you offer the item for different prices on the two platforms?

Are you selling on Facebook? Or is it just the views? I imagine things are viewed more on FBM because there are fewer items for sale on there. I know I've bought from Facebook before, but haven't listed items for sale yet. I'm not that comfortable with selling in my immediate area. I know that years ago Craig's List was the place to be. I listed furniture and all I got were scams where people were going to pick up the furniture and pay me way more than I had it listed for. I immediately knew it was a scam, but it was a little unnerving to know that these people could send someone to my house. To me, that's about like it is on FBM. eBay seems just safer to sell on.

It sold already.  Just like that!  Instead of sitting on eBay for months!   lol

I have to since 1 of them ends up taking 25% off of the sale price.

I've been selling on FB for years.  Never had an issue when picking up.

The Roman coins? Good going!!

Do you think you could list your celeb-worn earrings there?? The return way beats the consigner I suggested earlier.
