can we start a discussion about the basics, that newbies really need to know. things like always looking for a paypal verified address and account and seller protection- never, ever change the address or permit a package forwarding.

But the thing is, what new seller even knows there is a community ?
They see the ebay splash page, that says "it's easy to sell your iphone"
I never read policy when I started selling. ( much of it is confusing, and out of date )
( I have only had one or two problems, nothing big )
It's hard to teach noobs, if they don't show up for class.
When I did find the boards, I read at least 3 years of back post.
I now know all the ins and outs of ebay ( well not all)
But I know to come here first.
ebay is never going to warn of all the things that could go wrong.

By using a fradulent SNAD, any buyer can steal any item from any seller at any time as long as he does not make a mistake while stealing it.
So do not list an item if you cannot afford to lose that item (along with the cost of shipping it to the thief).
