There is a problem with the new Ebay page layout, you can't zoom into your listing pictures.

Today I spoke to Ebay 3 times about having a issue with zooming into my listing pictures.

After Ebay change my page layout to the new Hub,any new listing I can't zoom into the listing pictures,Ebay told me that it's a Ebay Site Problem! and they are taking care of that, they don't have a time line when it will be fixed, but they told me it will get fix.

Antiques,

I'm having the same problem with creating auctions with zoomable photos. There were several threads yesterday about this. At least a dozen people reported the same issue - new listings don't allow the big-size photos to be displayed.

Thanks for calling eBay and getting acknowledgement of the problem.  I'm going to do the same thing.

Travis reported yesterday that this is not a problem with uploading images. He pointed out that if you copy the web address of one of the small photos in the failing auction and paste it into a new web window and then change the resolution field in the address from what it is (e. g., 1500) to 1600 that you will see the big version of the jpg. So eBay has the big uploaded jpgs, they just aren't displayed by the auction. It's as though the little check box for "gallery" was not checked in the creation of the auction.

I tried switching my browser from Mozilla to Safari on my Intel Mac OS X and had just the same problem. Then I used Safari on my wife's 2-year old MacBook Air and again got the same problem.

I don't recall anyoone else correlating the problem to the new Hub.

Keep us informed it you get anything more from eBay. They don't seem to want to say much about this.

Mike

There are several threads about this exact subject. What has been learned from all of them is that eBay knows and clearly doesn't care. If they did, they could very easily answer our question on this forum (that THEY host!), message sellers, or at the very least update the useless "Seller Announcements" in the Seller Hub. As usual eBay puts sellers at the bottom of their service list. No acknowledgement, so information, no solution.

That's like needing a pint of blood to survive and the doctor tells you he doesn't know when it's coming but it's coming
