Come on Ebay, one tries making a proper listing and needs to rewrite and rewrite since drafts are auto deleted. Please make drafts permanent.

I don't know if this will work for you or not, but I got a lot of listings under SCHEDULED. Every time it gets close to the date/time I reschedule it as far out as it will allow me to. Have done this almost 6 months.
Have a great new Years weekend.

Just open the draft every 30 days and resave it, that extends the date. Add an exclamation point one month and delete it the next if it satisfies you.

I agree! We were promised when Turbo Lister was going away that we would still have the ability to save listings permanently like we could with Turbo Lister. Guess what .... eBay lied!

Drafts are good for 75 days. In Seller Hub, in your Drafts folder, ebay now includes a button at the top indicating if any of your drafts are about to expire. Click on that button , make any revision you choose, click "save for later" and that will reset the 75 day count. You can do this as often as you wish.
While it isn't the same thing as permanent, if you are willing to keep an eye on your drafts folder and make the revisions, you will have the same end result.

It's not as easy as you think.
Rules, policies, categories, item specifics, shipping rates, etc. change all the time.
The effort it would require to convert / transform / update a historical listing to keep it current and compatible would probably be better spent in other areas.

Yup, they did.
Turbo Lister was an incredibly powerful tool and losing it was a blow.
And promising up the same functionality in the Seller Hub and failing to fulfill that promise was s shameful thing.

I never save nor look at drafts that eBay has automatically saved. My 4500 active listings and recently sold listings are my ”drafts”. I never start a new listing from scratch, I always have listings I can do “Sell Similar” with.
I also have a Word file that has the standard paragraphs I tend to use. For instance the text I use for “Send Offer” is saved there.. Copy, Paste!
Sending America's collectibles where they belong, one auction at a time!

I'd settle for them NOT deleting drafts that are well UNDER 75 days old.

I have permanent drafts already. Right on my pc wordpad. If a draft disappears from my eBay drafts, it's as simple as copy and paste to get it back.

Simply open the draft every 30 days and save it to update the date. Add an exclamation point one month, and if it meets your needs, delete it the next. This routine ensures timely updates.

That's IF your draft is still there lol

Templates is the feature you're looking for instead, I'd imagine. They never disappear.

Only if they're listing like items I would imagine.

It is not only the text, but many other features of a listing, categories, description. Copy/paste from computer saves time only partially.
