Why on earth would I want to drop the price on an item which has been selling well at $9.95 to their recommended $4.70?
Yeah, I'm sure I would make a lot more sales, but makes no sense to me as what I have in stock will sell at the higher price. Maybe just not fast enough for ebay?
I'm assuming that every one I sell at the higher price will be factored in to their new "recommended price"?

Why on earth would I want to ...
eBay does not make recommendations to help sellers, they make recommendations to help eBay.
eBay's suggestions are no more helpful than a car rental company's suggestion that you buy their overpriced supplemental insurance.
Timid people conform; confident people ignore.

Hey, Lucky. This is one of your best posts ever. Truly. A real positive. Thank you. Not being sarcastic here.

No worries, they are just suggestions. You are not required to follow them.

If you want to irritate an ebay employee change the email and send it back to them with your recommended prices on ebay services like listing fees and FVF’s and store fees.

Anyone buy a mattress lately? I thought car shopping was bad.
Sleep labs, cutsie names with pricing that makes no sense. And they will try to sell you everything up to and including a net to prevent malaria.
Yup, the world is full of suggestions, and we have the ability to say no and to ignore them.
Or in my case a look like she better stop or we are not even going to purchase the mattress.

Those are just Ebay's recommendations. You don't have to follow them if you don't want to.

No one at eBay monitors those email addresses.

No you send them to the real addresses that get monitored, it very easy to find them

Yeah, its even more insulting when its one of our charity listings with a very small margin built into the price.....

They don`t care if you make any money off it so long as they get their cut.
