The new ebay Ad dashboard, WHAT A MESS!!

Today, ebay has completely changed the layout of "Advertising Dashboard" section.

There are no more "Promoted Listings", they have changed it to "priority campaign strategy" (previously Promoted Listings Advanced) and changed the "(Promoted Listings Standard) to "general campaign strategy".

They also integrated both campaigns into one central dashboard.., it's really confusing!

Has anyone tried the new ebay advertising dashboard??

I've been on eBay for a long time and am quite used to eBay's seemingly random changes and glitches. Just mucked my way through editing a campaign. At first, I thought I was in the wrong place. Just spent enough time to add items and edit ad rates.  Would have to muck around again to do the same thing. Haven't spent any time to figure out what's changed. eBay likes to stir the pot. Hopefully something was improved? I know eBay wouldn't just try to fix something if it wasn't broken 🙄

My ad fees are no longer standard, they are general ad fees. It reminds me of when I was a boy and I would iron my cash that I had saved. Making all of the bills flat and rigid. It was a completely unnecessary act that didn't do anything to help others, but it made me feel good about my baby.....my money.

I saw this when I was listing things today. At first I thought it was because I was no longer using promoted listing for my items. I was confused but left it alone. I am taking a vacation from promoting my listings, no matter what this new confusion is...

Don't give eBay free money and it becomes a moot point.

Just say no to PL.

My PL General interface is messed up with this change to the point where I can't add any active listings to the new campaign. Low and behold, if I do create a PL Priority campaign, all of my active listings appear there no problem. For as long as I have been selling on here and the amount of money we have generated for this company over the years, it is starting to get tiring with a lot of this non-sense.

Just got off the phone with CS and they have submitted a "ticket", let's see if this gets fixed.

Part of the Summer Update Announcement. We were warned you could say!! Definitely seeing higher suggested rates each time I attempt to create a new promotion. As a side I don't think there will be a ticket but that's only a guess!!! We are stuck with it's new way of doing stuff!!!!

Hey there, we are having the same problem.  Cannot add any of our listings to the PL General campaign.  Has this been fixed for you guys?

They keep changing the UI - everywhere - to keep their devs busy I think. It's been changed 10,000,000,000,000 times and has gotten worse every time. Been on this site just about every day since day one, and now I can't find the filters to search for items in my zip code. Sucks.

When I had eBay for Business on the line I asked tongue in cheek if it was possible to go back to the old interface? I got a hard no. Hey, it doesn't hurt to ask!!! From my brief testing it is usable but dangerous to anyone who is not familiar with all its inner workers and defaults.

Whenever eBay implements something new it always reminds of the line from Hotel California.
