The most frustrating & disappointing thing to me, about selling online, is finding rare items and not being able to sell them even though there is 0 competition for the item(s). It's one thing not to sell it or them but, not even to receive offers. ?? Sometimes, having only 1 other similar item online & seeing it sell for MORE than your asking price. My complaint of the day. lol Good luck to all. 🙂

What are you selling? What we may think is "rare" or sought after may not really be that sought after today I am finding. I don't think people are really shopping much for collectibles these days. Now, if you have some Lululemons well....they can snag a good price! 🙂

"Rare" does not mean desirable. There might be only 100 of a given thing in the world, but if people aren't interested in buying it, it wouldn't make a difference if there were 100 or 100,000 of them.

Yeah, that's why 0 competetion. No one was able to sell them... Now if you had an Iphone which is not rare, it'll sell in a minute.

For me the most frustrating part of selling is that our overseas competition is getting subsidies from OUR postal service.

Manny sellers simply continue to park items on ebay, until sold.
I see items that have been continuously listed for years.
Someday, someone may just come along, make an offer or buy.
Patience is required.

I used to be able to sell all my collectibles within three weeks, often within three days. eBay used to be THE go-to place for collectibles, but now there are many sites for collectibles, so it's a different corner of the market.
It sometimes takes two years for me to sell a collectible these days, but they do eventually sell, as long as I know it is something that is in demand.
