My sales were really good about 3 to 4 weeks ago. But sales dropped drastically
as soon as the temperature took an increase to very hot and humid (I live on the NorthEast
coast...gets very humid around here) conditions. But at least home AC was invented and that mitigates
the situation.
This is usually the case every year at this time. I understand why this happens with millions more
people out to the beach or camping.
But once the weather starts to cool and kids go back to school sales should bounce back
to a lively step.

Same here, summer started hot hot with sales and fell off. Had my best month in May and June but July is on track for the worst month in 14 years. It's hotter than hell outside right now.

I say Yup to that, I had a great June, come July 1st crickets! I was expecting this and had planned to be on vacation for most of July (had to cancel at the last minute).
I had picked July because it's great summertime weather and often dead (for me) here so it's the best time financially to shut down. I usually see a pick up in the second half of August with a pretty good September/October.
The same pattern was true during my years of B&M retail in the 80's/90's.

As always, I think it's what you're selling.
I don't think the sellers selling fans and ac units are suffering from slow sales due to the heat. 😉

My sales dropped in Feb., and got worse each month. It is picking up a little this month (3 so far).
As I stated on another thread, I got a house clean out to do, and when that is done I think I am going to try and do something crazy (its a secret right now) and see if I can really boost my sales. If not, what the heck.😥

A very slow month for me and I added hundreds of items plus promoting this month. I take it as a horrible month.
With crappy weather in Texas I have had no sales this month.
And now with the crappy weather in the northeast you could hear a pin drop at my place.
On the plus side I manage to do things I have been wanting to do for a long time...clean the apartment.

Until the power bill comes in lol
My usual power bill is around $100. This month's bill (for June) was $145. AC has a price - and where I live we pay 11 cents per kwh, which from my understanding is pretty doggone cheap compared to the northeast. I'm in Mississippi.
