I see that a lot of us are having to Verify ourselves multiple times a day just to do our jobs. I have contacted eBay twice about this to get the usual it's not our fault you have to many cookies. For the heck of it I installed Chrome on my shipping computer. With No Cookies or Previous Searches on Chrome I went directly to the eBay site and it asked me to Verify. How Ridicules!
This is another eBay glitch. If you are having this same problem, Please contact eBay to let them know it is happening to you. Apparently they do not read comments from the eBay community or care to look into this.

I used to use Edge, I was getting too many of those captcha things and having to sign in every time I closed my browser. Then I get the a new device is logged into your account emails. Very aggravating. Cleared cookies and all that and still have those issues.
So I now use Firefox, I get none of that. I can close my browser and reopen it without having to log in again, no emails telling me a new device blah blah blah…and no captcha. It’s obviously a browser thing. Edge & Chrome
ETA I use Safari on my iPad and don’t have those issues either.

Isn't using a new browser that you have never used before one of the times you would EXPECT eBay to ask you to verify?

What?!? Do you have a grudge against bees and flowers? : )

There are many things that can interfere with Captcha verification.
Sometimes when eBay changes the sign-in process, it causes problems for some users; sometimes those problems are due to using an old browser or obsolete cookies (though not always). Some users are just annoyed by verification; while others actually get stuck in a loop that just keeps presenting new sign-in pages or new verification pages, or just will not let them sign in at all.
If you are having problems signing in, make sure you are allowing the sign-in page to load completely before attempting to sign in -- users have indicated that attempting to sign in before the page has loaded can cause problems.
Make sure your browser is set to accept cookies. Try another browser or another device, or a private or incognito browser session. If you delete your cookies or use a different browser, you will likely have to sign in and go through strict verification again, but if you have problems with a blocked or corrupt cookie, manually deleting your eBay cookies once can help. Some browsers seem to require more verification than others; try signing in and out more than once to see if it requires verification the second time around.
Make sure your browser has javascript enabled:

VPNs can also cause sign-in issues, so try disabling yours if you use one and are encountering problems. Privacy add-ons like Ghostery or Disconnect can also cause issues.
Blocking tracking cookies or third-party tracking can also interfere with verification; see if you can disable that feature on the sign-in page or on the verification page.
If you are able to sign in, to stay signed in there is a "keep me signed in" checkbox on the sign-in page, but there is another checkbox in your account site preferences -- it might be worth checking that setting, or unchecking, saving, rechecking and saving again. That is, if you want to stay signed in and avoid having to go through verification.
If you have multiple accounts and must sign in and out to switch, consider using a dedicated browser for each account to minimize signing in and out. A private or incognito browser session is handy if you just need to check another account without signing out of your current account.

Soon we will be asked to verify that we are human and soon after that AI will arrive at your door.

Not when you are not even logging in. Just going to Any .com home page should not trigger the Spanish inquisition.

Every time I want to look at a users feedback, I have to verify I'm a human. It even makes me verify if I want to look at my own account. ebay must be getting attacked by phishing accounts or something, trying to get people's info.
