Everyone notice the email response have become more and more illogical, as if the person on the other end didn't even read your message? It's because they are training AI to response to your emails, even dispute cases. Suggestion, for get their email system, CALL THEM. Then when they say "we'll email you back in 24-48 hours", that means they are handing the information over to their AI system to train. You'll get a totally out of touch response. DO NOT accept them saying 'we will email you'. Stop there and ask to speak with the department manager. Insist on keeping it with a REAL person.

How are you contacting eBay by email, exactly?
What phone number are you calling, and where did you find it?

Since this message was posted, things only got worse: at this point, if, by miracle, you make it through the AI firewall and reach a real person on the phone, they read a script, don't seem to understand a word of what you're saying, say "we'll email you back in 24-72 hours", and if you manage to have them transfer you to a supervisor, the supervisor reads the same scripts and, again, say "we'll email you back in 24-72 hours". Then, you'll never hear from them again, or you'll just receive another of these pointless, out of touch emails.
Ebay's customer service (for sellers, that is) used to be great. It's become absolutely horrendous.
