I've been just taking returns back lately - no questions asked - I have 3 stores - today I got yet another one - from a customer who purchased something in January. She's decided today that she really doesn't like the item now. I think it's starting to get just a little ridiculous. Do I have to take back something 45 days after delivery?

We only exceptreturns for 30 days. 45 days is just to long. Pretty sure ebay is only 30. We would not do the return if its been 45 days. We do returns all the time but thats just 15 days to long.

If it's outside your return window, you don't have to accept the return. If you do 60 day returns, yes you would have to accept it. If you do 30 or 14 day returns, you don't. Do be aware that the buyer has 180 days with Paypal, but the return shipping will be on them.

sorry didn't mean to duck out on you guys - getting ready for the St Patty's festival and things are getting crazy here. Yes I did tell her I would take it back but did advise her that she would have to pay the return shipping. This gal actually called me and we had a discussion about the item. It was very clearly described as to the condition and the pictures were acurrate. She just decided after all this time that she didn't like it. I've very good about understanding retail but getting weary.

I'll bet the real story is that after almost 2 months of daily wearing - she is now tired of it and it looks a little beat up so she is going to rent it by sending it back to you and finding something else she can 'rent' for awhile.
Having dealt with something like this - know that if you are selling on ebay and you take returns - you take them for any reason - no questions asked. This is within your time frame, of course - BUT if you authorize a return - you will be obligated to refund the buyer for the transaction - no matter what they send back.
