Original post talked of glitch in the system. But turns I'm a ding dong and royally screwed up. Oh well... Lessons learned

Thank you for your honesty but what are you talking about? Many of us may not know what you are referring to. Did you make a mistake when posting on another thread or something else?

It would have been a good idea for you to have posted this message on your original thread.
However, can't find your original thread under this ID. We have no idea what you are talking about.
Glad to hear you figured out the problem.

If you've figured out how to profit on eBay your cerebellum is intact.

It seems pretty clear - the original poster posted a selling-related problem, figured it out within half an hour based on their post edit time stamp, then 5 1/2 hours later someone saw the original [edited] post and replied.
If you want to close the topic @inogirl1948 just click that little down carrot arrow on the upper right corner of your post, select "report inappropriate content," then in the comment box ask the moderator to lock your thread because your issue is resolved.
Whatever happened, good to hear you figured it out. Hope the impact from your error wasn't too bad. We all make mistakes.

It happens to all of us, don't worry about it! Even though I also don't know what you're talking about, but I know we all make mistakes 🙂

Should be clear that much of the response here was sarcasm?
I thought the first 2 replies were serious and the other 2 replies were joking. If I got that wrong in thinking the first couple responses were serious ... oh, well.
If I'm not mistaken, settings default new Community members to get emails alerting them to all replies in threads they create. Thought the original poster might not want all the alerts reminding them of their error. Thought I'd help them with info on how to lock the thread if they want.

You are correct though in we should be supportive
So I do hope the OP has resolved the issue and , as many do not want to admit, YES we all make mistakes and I have made plenty of them here. We just have to learn from them.
