On some of my listings I put a symbol at the end of the title, to tell me where the item is stored. everything I listed or renewed in the last two days, the symbol has dropped off. > is anyone else having this problem ? I tried editing the listings on my other computer and it does the same thing, so am pretty sure it is not on my end. thanks for your help.

Why waste precious title space with a symbol that Cassini is going to throw at the bottom of the pile when compiling search results instead of using the SKU line for that?

Enter your item location into the Custom Label SKU field when you create the listings. Your item location will appear on your Items Awaiting Shipment screen, enabling you to easily retrieve them.

Symbols and special characters in listing title is discouraged, and in most cases not allowed. They can hinder search as well. You can use something for inventory purposes at the end of the title that is not a special character, for example C18. But I would discourage doing that, as it may cause confusion for buyers.
The custom label field (SKU) is intended for just this purpose, and is not viewable to anyone but the seller. I would encourage you to use this instead.

You're not supposed to use symbols in the title or the description. It's against eBay policy.

Symbols and watermarks are not permitted. That's why they were removed.

Didn't know that, learn something everyday. Not that I ever wanted to use a symbol or emoji in a search title.
