Support for sellers

I have been selling and buying on Ebay since 2005 and overall most sellers and buyers are amazing. There are always few bad apples as we all know. As a buyer, I have been respectful and left positive feedback when I am satisfied, when I have a problem I reach out to a seller to try to work it out. Most sellers are very nice and want to make things right. I choose to leave no feedback when I am not satisfied. I always check the ratings and read reviews on sellers before purchasing something. I still do not understand why there is so little support from Ebay for sellers. Specially when it comes to buyers who do not pay. There needs to a way to warn other sellers for nonpaying buyers. Now with changed unpaid item assist buyer has 4 days to pay and then seller can cancel the transaction. As a seller I want this information shown somewhere. Also I was told with these strikes they only stay on buyes account for a while and if they have so many strikes in that time period only then they will be penalized. Yet buyers can leave negative feedback on pretty much anything. I just wish there would be a way to let other sellers know about buyers who do not pay. I had 3 in one week out of 9 transactions. That is little high. I would love to start a group for sharing buyers who do not pay to help other sellers to ether cancel the bids from buyers who end up on that list or they have a choice to give a buyer a second chance. But sellers would know and have a choice. I don't understand why Ebay can not flag the buyers who have unpaid transaction on the next time they bid on something. I wish I would know and have a choice as a seller.

Are you aware of the Blocked Buyer List? "Each cancellation with a “Buyer hasn't paid” reason will be recorded against that buyer. You can stop purchases from buyers with more than two unpaid item cancellations using your “Buyer management” preferences. Buyers with excessive cancellations for “Buyer hasn't paid” reason may be suspended...."

eBay does flag reported nonpaying buyers.

To take advantage of that, you need to add the Unpaid Item Strike block to your selling account so you can take advantage of UPI Strikes set up by all eBay sellers.

Go here: https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/listings/creating-managing-listings/setting-buyer-requirements?id=...

In the Buyer Requirement for Unpaid Item Strikes, set the number of Unpaid Item Strikes at 2 in the last 12 months.

If you don’t want buyers blocked by your buyer requirement settings to contact you, select Don’t allow blocked buyers to contact you. Then select Submit.

Apply the changes by selecting Apply above settings to active and future listings
