I just want it to be known that I had refunded a buyer his money because I couldn't afford to ship his item. Well almost all the money got refunded except for $0.84 and the guy reports me to Ebay for not fully repaying him...........well I refunded him his money so enjoy buying a gumball from a gumball machine🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Some people are absolutely just petty......

Yeah, one man's chump change is another man's Berkshire Hathaway stock dividend.
But I'm curious... how did it come about that you could not afford to ship the item? Did you mistakenly indicate free shipping? That's happened to me a couple of times... and it can be expensive.

Why was he not refunded in full?
Could the 84 cents be the taxes? eBay refunds the taxes separately.
Why is it petty to want all of the money back? The buyer shouldn’t be out anything just because the seller didn’t know what they were doing?

I think the .84 was for taxes as mentioned 🖕🎃

@baco-5559 You have only sold two items on this account and got good feedback for one so I am assuming it is the sports card you are talking about. But I, too, am curious why you "couldn't afford to ship the item". Does that mean you couldn't afford the postage to mail it?

Sorry for the miscalculation. Thanks for "letting it be known" on a super huge online marketplace. I thought we knew...

What's petty is that a seller sells something then realizes he "can't afford" to ship it?

Apparently, you DID charge the buyer a shipping cost, and apparently he paid that shipping cost to you, so why were you unable to ship his item?
