I sold a pound of Assorted Colored Mosaic Scrap Stained Glass and Tiles. These are leftover pieces of glass and tiles used for stained glass mosaics. Although the buyer left me positive feedback she stated "Although I purchased broken glass pieces, the package wasn't very well packed."
My glass pieces were contained in a Ziplock baggie that was placed in a standard cardboard shipping box which was shipped in a Priority Mail padded envelope. They never contacted me and frankly I'm really puzzled what more they could expect anyone else to do? This is a picture of the glass pieces.

The buyer bought broken pieces of glass and tile and they commented on, basically, the lack of adequate packing material? Pardon me, but does anyone else feel this to be oxymoronic? Buyer left positive feedback...I wouldnt spend another second worrying about it. Be confident in yourself and let this one roll off your back like water off a ducks back :)~

If I came across that in someone's feedback I'd start laughing. It just sounds so odd. If you're confident in your packing methods, don't worry about it.

The only way I can think of to keep bits of glass like that from moving during transit would be to vacuum seal them into a bag.
The FB was positive and will drop off your page fairly soon. Not many buyers actually read FB if it is 100% positive anyway (or even 95% if these Boards are any indication).

I would have wrapped the ziplock bag in bubble wrap so that it was tight in the shipping box and couldn't shift around. I can't think of anything else you could have done. Some people have to criticize everything.
I think that was the buyer's point; yes. Although the pieces were indeed broken glass, packing them loose would allow them to scrape around and mark up the finish on each. When you set them into a mosaic, you want the pieces to have a nice smooth finish surface on top, without scrapes and scuffs. Those with pigment on the bottom side shouldn't have scratches through the color.
