Store Categories

OK Community members, I need your help again.

I'm trying to list a Coins of America .999 pure silver dollar in a velvet box, uncirculated & US minted.

I listed the item category as Coins & Paper Money-Coins: US- Other US Coins. However, I can't find an appropriate store category. I listed on eBay some time ago but never sold any coins. Surely there is a way I can add a category. How do I do this?

Go to Seller Hub. Click on Overview

In the block labelled Selling Tools click on Manage Store

In the new page that opens click on Store Categories

Under Created Categories click on Add Store Categories.

Then follow the prompts.

Thank you richard1rst. I followed your directions & had no problems.

Now I have another question. I went to the compilation of the silver dollar description & one of the blanks was for proof.

Since I've never listed a coin, what does proof mean? How should I answer this?

Just a note from one who knows nothing about numismatics.

I understand from complaints on these Boards that eBay charges sales tax on coins, but that "pure" silver or gold coins are considered to be "bullion" and are not subject to state sales taxes.

You might reconsider the category since the bullion category is supposed to be set up NOT to charge sales taxes, while collector coins and medallions will charge your customer sales tax.
