Spring 20 Discount Code - Who Pays ?

Can someone explain how the Spring 20 Discount code works?

I see it on my auction listings.

When I list for an auction I usually list at a low price.

There is no room for a 20% discount on my auctions.

How is eBay putting a coupon code on my item for sale when I did not agree to it?

Are they going to pay me the difference?

If I want to put something for sale that is my store choice.

Hopefully someone will explain to me that eBay pays me back?
