I searched for Easter postcards and selected "Price + Shipping: lowest first." I got 23,364 results and the eBay notification "We removed some search results to show you the most relevant listings." The lowest priced listings shown cost $1.50 ($.50 price + $1.00 shipping). I had to click on "View all results" to see all 37,327 listings. Then it showed the real lowest priced listings with a cost of $.25 ($.25 auction starting price + free shipping).

So what you are saying is that that eBay did indeed "remove some search results" and when you clicked "view all results" then you did indeed view all results?

Yes, eBay removed over a third of the search results when I sorted by Price + Shipping: lowest first. To add insult to injury, eBay says that the items removed are less relevant. Clicking "View all results" does show all results.

Yes, that is how it works in over saturated categories. Easy though, just keep clicking the view all results and you will be fine.

No, I don't think that's what they are saying. They are saying ebay 'removed' or really HID the cheapest items that matched the search. Why? Maybe because fifteen cents in fees is more then three cents.

eBay has been doing this for several years now.

I find this so frustrating, sometimes clicking "view all results" still doesn't show all results, when further research turns them up.
I don't get it, but there seems to be a lot I don't get lately.
