I've been trying to print a UPS label since Friday and getting a "Something went wrong and we were not able to generate the label" error message. I've called eBay support three times and have been told each time it was a bug that would be fixed "within 24 hours." It has not been fixed.

I tried using PayPal to generate the label but the shipping cost was $40 more than on eBay.

Are there other workarounds I can try? Thank you!

What was the size AND weight of the item. A $40.00 difference just doesn't make sense.

You could try Pirateship. I had an APO label today that got that same message but Pirateship printed it just fine. For the same price as eBay.

I'm having the same problem 12/21/20. One of the suggested workarounds was to use Paypal.com/shipnow but I am reluctant to pay the extra $9 that Paypal is charging for my UPS box and it's too large to go cheaply USPS. I'm a little frustrated and it looks like I am not alone in my frustration.

However if I were shipping USPS I highly recommend pirateship.com. They have super helpful pages and tech support if you need it. Their prices are comparable to Ebay's commercial discounts and they just started an international USPS shipping option that is pretty cheap compared to all the other options that I have found. No UPS option yet though...

I had the same problem. Tech support was no help. Tried a different web browser, still nothing. Went to my shipping easy account and it printed out at the discounted rate no problem. I could have saved so much time if I had just done that to start with.
