Something I've wondered about over the years....

Occasionally I have a buyer send me an email telling me how much they loved their purchase, but they don't leave feedback.

I'm not concerned about feedback , it just seems weird. It's faster to leave feedback, then it is to send an email. These aren't new members, most of them have bought and sold and left feedback for other transactions.  My feedback is auto, you leave it - you get it.

Obviously I've manually left feedback before, but whenever a buyer does this, it makes me make sure I don't leave it first. lol

Call me paranoid, but this is eBay. You can never be too paranoid.

Maybe those buyer had the same rule, and the notes were to prompt you to leave it.

I always leave feedback first and still periodically have buyers send me notes.  That's fine - I think they just either don't notice that they already have feedback from me, or that is their form of feedback and they just don't play the feedback game.  I like hearing from them.
