Some items not appearing in search (but do show up in Items Matching Fewer Words

This has been going on with two listings for well over a year now.  I just redid one of the listings from scratch, but it didn't change this problem:

When I search for a simple keyword string from the title, other listings show up but mine don't.  However, I just noticed that my two listings actually do show up in the Items Matching Fewer Words section.  Yet the search string appears in full in my titles.

Here are the listings:

142749358000;  H&R Block At Home Deluxe 2009 Tax Preparation software; XP/Vista/7/OS X 10.4.11 (this is the listing I just redid from scratch)

142729473398;  H&R Block At Home Deluxe 2011 Tax Preparation software; Federal + CA; Mac/Win

The latter listing has been up for well over a year.  If I search "At Home Deluxe", my listings don't show up, except in the Items Matching Fewer Words section.  In the past, I have also searched on several permutations of the title keywords, yet have never been able to find them in search.  (I don't know about the Items Matching Fewer Words aspect back then, I hadn't noticed that until just today).  In addition, if I search my Active Items list, these items also don't show up, though in looking at the whole list, they are clearly there.

Anyone know what is going on?

There have been a few posts about the search not working recently.

Maybe that will be the next thing eBay removes from the site.

how rare would it be for a buyer to type "H&R Block at home deluxe" rather than "tax preperation software" or "H&R Block 2017"

the search algorithms only looking at the first few words of your title now, you need to change it to exactly what the buyer will type

How do you know the search only looks at the front part of the title?  That would be odd.

Anyway, "at home deluxe" is the precise product name, that distinguishes it from any others.  Even just typing "block" or "at home" doesn't bring them up.
