Just noticed this and pretty sure it must be a bug (there would have to be a pretty nefarious/inscrutable reason for it to be intentional).
The main issue:
When "Show Only" Sold (or "Completed") filters in search page left nav menu are engaged AND "Format" Buy It Now Filter is selected, the sold (or listing completion) dates disappear from the search results (not hidden - plain not there at all)
Additionally, if not signed in, and neither of Sold or Completed filters are on (normal active listing search results), NO fixed price listings show end dates when either the "Format" Buy it Now or All Listings filters are on.
(Why? I search for things all the time in browsers not signed in - why wouldn't I be shown the ending time for a BIN for something I might want to buy and might miss because it ends before I go sign in in my workhorse eBay browser)
Auction listing search results seem to always display end times/dates signed in or not any time a filter (All Listings or Auctions) permits their display.
Makes it tougher to do listing research as a seller or price comparisons as a buyer.
Noticed it in FF3.6.24 and figured a Stylish or Adblock Plus rule or a rule in one of the GreaseMonkey scripts was causing it, but was not the case. After disabling the armor nothing changed. Started looking at the parameters in the URL and removing them one by one until it became obvious it was the "Format" filters.
Same results in a clean, unarmored install of Firefox 52.2.1 ESR, and in Firefox 31. (I leave it to youses and/or eBay to check out other browserses.)
If I'm missing something here (DOH!), show me where my thinking went astray.
I buy here all the time and most of my usual search results are showing up as 0. Its been going on for 2 days now that I'm aware of. Very frustrating for sellers more than a buyers because if a buyer can't find what they want they just move on to another website. Where as sellers on ebay lose out on sales if buyers can't find anything.
