I figured I would try to do a 24-hour sale for this Cyber Monday thing, and I see that I have a whopping 26 followers. I went to try and make up a newsletter email to send them, and just saw "You have no subscribers".
Um. Ok. So how do you reach out to "followers"? If there isn't a way to do that, what is the point of having "followers"?
So how can you send out a newsletter if you have no "subscribers"? Why aren't "Followers" also "Subscribers"?
Am I just too old to understand this whole "follower" social media silliness?

That’s fine then you want people to subscribe so they know what they’re going to get.
Really my issue is with eBay taking a buyer-centric tool and trying to monetize it regardless of what the buyers want.
it seems lately like they’re trying to take a functional system and squeeze the most short term profits out of it. Totally disregarding what is good for their customers and long term viability.

Ah...I wasn't understanding where you were coming from. I definitely agree with that assessment: it is simply the application of what is going on everywhere right now...a looting of our entire country, using our own data, weaponized against us by every "like" or "thumbs up" or "tweet" or whatever...we are having that information used as a weapon against us. I believe that the realization of this is about to hit everybody very soon. I think we are seeing the rumblings of that starting already.

Thanks for all that! I got signed up on Pinterest. Now I just have to figure it out and make it mesh.

I imagine it has to do with the Spam Policy. That's why someone must subscribe to get it.

All sellers have limits. New sellers limits are low, such as yours at 10. When you build up a history of successfully completed transactions, your limits may go up.
