Stolen from the buyers porch, mailbox, car trunk etc.....
I will certainly be leaving as a seller as soon as I sell all my junk and get my money

Well then who do you want clarification from??? You are asking them for clarification and you are getting it and by multiple blues too.
Now you want to say they are all wrong????
So ebay cannot win and no one will be happy no matter what ebay says and this will all continue.
No, we want clarification from ebay. Blues are employees of ebay and are not upper management decision makers or policy enforcers.
Jen did not say blues are all wrong.

eBay can win by reverting to the old wordng of the Seller Protection Policy, in which tracking only needed to show the ZIP.
I'm afraid after the blues fumbled there is no way for them to reassure anybody unless the policy wording is changed.
To be clear it is only a relatively a small amount/few that need reassurance but as stated above they will think that even the blues are wrong no matter what....others are just fine and working as usual.

Yep. You're right. Discussion over.

Thank you Sherry. I did not say blues are all wrong. I said "sometimes they get it wrong". And its the truth.
And yet we are the ones adding words and seeing things that are not there? SMDH. The hypocrisy is real here.

Ummm...those that work in the resolution center and enforce the policies and that decide the disputes are not upper management either.....they are ebay employees. And it is ebay employees that write the poicies as well.
Upper management over sees various depts heads and runs the corporation. They hire people to do things such running depts and as writing the policies and working in the resolution center and deciding disputes and enforcing policies...they are all ebay employees.

I think the main issue that folks are concerned about is that IF ebay meant to say we have to be able to show it was delivered to an actual address, that is impossible to show online viewable and poof goes ANY seller protection for an INR.
It's akin to PP changing it to have an 180 day window knowing full well tracking is NOT available for online viewing for that long.
Ebay has answered and clarified this multiple times in multiple threads....this is not going to change. They did many times already....starting a couple days ago

What's your point? We are allowed to make guesses here. I still don't understand why no one else is allowed to guess and have an opinion here. This is a DISCUSSION board. Please stop interferring and let us discuss.
Nice thing about us Homo Sapiens is we have this highly evolved brain that allows us to engage in deductive reasoning, which can allow us to predict future trends based on prior performance. 🙂
Though it may allows us to engage in deductive reasoning, so many refuse to use it, or insist on mis-using it.

It is almost the exact same policy as it was with the exception of the handling time having to be uploaded earlier. Maybe some people have just never really read it before.

Here is the current policy.....the one no one has an issue with this whole time....for years it has been in place

If you ship an item within your stated handling time and provide tracking information to the buyer before you or the buyer asks us to step in and help with a request, you're protected.

I feel this compelling imperative to ask - Are you compensated per word?
08-11-2018 05:48 PM
Problem is, #3 there is largely impossible to meet with the typical "tools" we have available to us. I can't think of any affordable tracking methods that show the address online. Signature Confirmation perhaps? Don't know if that does it or not; but that will cause buyers to have to pay more for their stuff, and drive them to other sites instead.

It is almost the exact same policy as the one you have been following for years now...it has not really changed.
If it was not an issue before...saying the exactly same thing, with the exception of the handling time part...then why is it something that is a problem now????
No one has had to do any of the things that some have added into this for all the years.
