To me this looks like eBay's continued Amazonification. Not a good sign. Never seen this on a listing before. I'd hate to see how they would do this in some categories where eBay has not a clue what a market price or fair value is like antiques and collectibles
BTW, the person offering the same item for $16.83 did not get a great prices icon?????

I have seen it for awhile. I agree what do they use to decide a Great Price? They should spend more time fixing all the broken links & error messages we get navigating the site.

I can see it already, all the chinese fakes will have a great price banner but the true legit item won't.

Another reason why I won't sell commodities - this kind of thing. Amazon has a structured catalog system where this may work (although they're using it to bludgeon sellers into price wars), eBay does not, so whatever parameters they're using to determine "great price" to me are suspect - "great price" for what, exactly?

Agreed. If you are looking to create a successful e-commerce company, Amazon is that last place I would try to emulate 🙂

If you want to fix this, go apply for a job at ebay, inc.
It's not just here, it's happening at Wally World too.
They're filling up with the fake fish and the underworld of hundred-thousand duplicate cheap trinkets as well.
OH DEAR LORD I CAN'T EVEN SAY WHAT KIND OF FISH!
