Every time I leave eBay for just a minute and want to get back, I have to sign in. It is frustrating and a waste of time. I have "stay signed in" checked everywhere (seller poreferences, etc.) but that doen't do anything. Does anyone know a solution to this problem? eBay is the most difficult and frustrating site to use anywhere. What a joke!

It's getting better. A month or so ago, I had to sign in twice.
Now? Every day, even though my browser saves the passwords, I have to do it again and again. It sucks.
I also noticed that anything about forums and browsing Ebay is so slow.

Go to Site Preferences, go to the bottom of the page, make sure that the box that says keep me signed in on this computer is checked. It got mysteriously unchecked on mine about a month ago.

Have you tried a different browser, or dumping the cookies on the current browser? That might give you more to work with.

That box is checked and has been checked all the time. It is not the solution.
When this problem initially surfaced, at least one person indicated that he had to uncheck the box, hit "apply", restart the browser and then go back and check the box and "apply" again before it "took". Might be worth a shot.

Please forgive me if you already kow this, but if you clear your search history, you will also be clearing your log-in. I realise that this may not be your issue, but thought I'd mention it anyway.
What I find annoying is every time I log-in, the user name and password from my keychain appear with the text all jumbled. When I click to enter, I get, "Opps! That's not a match." No kidding. Second time always works. This has been going on for months.

How about signing out, out, out. out on every page you have opened on eBay? And, yes, my cache, my whatever, my browser is not the reason. End of my recent rant. lolol. And all of my selections in the ebay whatever is kosher.
