When someone buys something it is because they value it more than the money it costs. Why would they want to go through the hassle of finding, buying, sometimes waiting, etc only to get their own money back? For some, wasting their time is not a positive experience.

OP, your questions comes up frequently.
YES, the buyer should absolutely be allowed to leave a neg. A refund doesn't magically wipe away a bad, problematic transaction.
Buyer wanted your item. If they wanted their money, they wouldn't have bought in the first place. A disappointed buyer has the right to express that in feedback, but I am sorry if you received a negative.

They most definitely should be able to. If I had a scummy transaction getting my money back doesn't make it less scummy. Today's sellers are basically forced to give refunds on this site in many cases, so they aren't doing something they should be patted on the back for doing.
If a seller refunds because they cancelled the transaction with an excuse, a large percentage of those sellers are lying about the true reason for cancellation.
I think about it like this, if I have a terrible experience at a restaurant or hotel and manage to get a refund, I still have the right to go on a number of review sites and leave a negative comment.

Of course, If I need a widget and you delay me from getting a working widget when I needed it, then that is a negative experience on my end.

Absolutely yes. Just because a buyer gets refund does not make all the issues of the transaction go away. It merely means they have been made whole again financially. NOTHING more.
It can't erase if the seller had been misbehaving in some way. Rude emails, bad description, slow shipping or whatever the case may have been.
The buyer on the other hand was waiting for something they needed, wanted or desired. Only to be disappointed when the item finally arrived for whatever reason that was. Now they have to go through the process of returning the item, waiting for their refund, shopping for the item again, repurchasing it and then waiting for the delivery.
That is a lot of time the buyer is waiting to get what they were trying to get in the first place. Lots of extra work as well.
Just some reason why even with a refund that the buyer still may have reason to be upset or concerned.
Certainly one can only hope if the seller was working with them from the moment they are notified of an issue and that seller made the process as easy as possible on the buyer. We do hope that the buyer will take that into consideration when leaving FB.

And that's understandable.

I have a room in my house where I keep my collection of money.
I have $100 bills taped to the walls. I have $20 bills piled on the shelves.
In my living room I don't have furniture, I have cash. Where others might have a tv, i have $600 sitting there......

I apologize to the masses here in the Community, I know this reply is 'off topic', but I had to respond to your post (in good conscience) ...
I pray you never experience a disaster - theft, fire, flood, etc. At least in my insurance policy - agreed yours may be different (if you have one at all) - but cash is not insurable. In case of a loss, my sofa and TV will be replaced. Will your $600 cash substitute? I am glad you like sitting on the floor, looking at your money instead of using it to be comfortable and to better your life and those whose lives might matter to you.
Apparent;y, your past eBay sales has been good to you. Congratulations.
I wish you well... especially in the afterlife. Because I choose to utilize my blessings differently than you (each to their own - so I am not saying you are wrong) I just have to wonder though - what good will all that money be to you (or anyone) then?
Have you ever heard the story of Ebeneezer Scrooge?

My 100 $ bills are hidden where the wife can't find them:)
I am getting older. I hope I don't forget where they are
We really do need a sarcasm emoji, as sometimes posts here are taken too seriously.

I got my negative without contact. Seems the new buyer thought problems were resolved by leaving negative feedback.
Well worded replies to negs are a good idea in some instances.
Mine does not seem to have hurt sales. Will fall off next month. I knock on wood in hopes that I do not get one to replace it:)

Should buyers be able to leave negative even if they recieved full refund ?
You win an auction.
You pay for the auction.
The seller tells you he doesn't like the price.
So he refunds you and relists it with a higher starting price.
Do you honestly think the refund should protect this seller from a negative?
