Shoe Authentication Failed Without a Given Reason as to Why

I put my first listing on eBay and it sold in a week. I then shipped it to only have it tell me that authentication failed without telling me why it failed. They're brand new Strangelove dunks, size 11, new without the original box as I listed. I even took 5 pictures of the shoes from different angles. I'm wondering if it's because I found a random old kyrie shoe box I decided to ship it with? But otherwise, was I supposed to ship them in a plastic bag or what? Also how are the shoes gonna be returned to me because I'm not sure they know my address.

Your return address should be on the label when you printed it and put on the package when you shipped the shoes. 
I’m going to guess that yes the box you shipped the shoes in may have played a part in the shoes not passing authentication.

USPS has priority boxes for shoes.
