Hello out there in eBay Land!
Question: does eBay provide a way to share in the shipping cost to your seller.....Customers seem to complain about shipping like they had to walk all the way! Also while I am at it....does anyone get feedback? I think I have gotten 6 in the last two years....I just stop giving it because I never get it.....people just don't want to bother!
Thanks,
Cheers2all

You can "adjust" your shipping cost to the buyer any way you want to.
Most sellers charge the buyer enough shipping to cover the actual shipping cost plus a little extra to cover other fees.
If you want to "share" the cost with your buyer, simply lower the price you charge.
Some sellers choose to offer free shipping and just charge more for the item itself.
$25 + $10 shipping
-or-
$35 with free shipping
As far as feedback goes ... yes, buyers hardly leave feedback any more.
About 20% of my customers leave feedback.

I use capped flat rate - sometimes I have a bit extra, sometimes I pay a bit extra, but it all evens out. I might sometimes roll a bit into the item price. Since I live in the far upper left of the lower 48, I have to do something because everywhere to ship is spendy (particularly since the bulk of the population lives out east or midwest).
As for feedback - it's not quid pro quo as far as I'm concerned - I always leave feedback when I ship and I appreciate it if the buyer leaves some for me.

Customers seem to complain about shipping -- do you mean buyers?
The buyer sees the shipping fee BEFORE he bids or buys. If he feels it's too high, that back arrow comes in handy.
