Shipping

Can I wait to ship until the buyer pays? I'm afraid of getting scamed since some people have tryed that already. And do I also have to use the postage purchase on ebay. What I mean is; can I just write down the buyer's adress and just ship it there? Then insert a tracking code somewhere.

You should wait until the buyer pays to ship, that's common sense. Check your paypal account to ensure the funds are there, don't rely on either emails or a notification in my ebay to say you have been paid.

You can go to the post office to buy tracking. The tracking must be online proof of delivery to that zipcode to be covered in an "item not received" dispute. I'd suggest buying the postage through eBay to get a discount and it's confirmation you shipped to the buyers address. (Don't alter the address in any way, you will void your protection).

What are you selling? The item matters. Some items attract scammers and unsavoury folk.

Cheers, C.

Check your Paypal account and see if the money is there.

Then you ship the item. Yes, you can write the buyer's address and yours on the package, then take it to the PO.

1) Yes, you should always, always, always, always wait until the buyer has paid before shipping.

Yes, you can take it to the post office and mail it yourself. But you may be paying more that your would through eBay.
