I had a listing for the price + shipping. There was a quantity of 6 available. One customer bought all 6. Shipping was evidently charged and paid for only 1 item. How do I get buyer to pay shipping on the other 5? How does this happen? My assumption was the additional 5 items would also be charged shipping as well since they were in addition to the single listing. Combining shipment is not possible as each of the 6 is a case lot. What went wrong? Thank you for any help

It must have something to do with it being an Offer that you accepted, but I can't figure how that happened. Hmmm...

There is a Problem with the Address.
The problem is that the buyer did not pay enough to cover the cost of shipping.
Cancellations for Problem with Address do not attract Defects.
But just keep that up your sleeve in case your problem gets worse.

You assumed wrong. When you list a fixed price item with multiple quantities you have the option to charge shipping for the additional options after the first one. I have plenty of example listings for this you can look at. I have several matchboxes in multiple quantities that have a base level shipping and handling cost for the first one and then an additional dime for each additional. It is calculated automatically.
For heavier items you need to weigh two, then three and so on to find out what the shipping cost will be for multiples on the same invoice. Some of my items will jump from $3.85 for the first one and then need a small flat rate box for the 2nd up to 20 quantity of the same item.
