I want to offer "free ship" but couldn't find out how. It has been quite some time since I have sold anything and want to get back into it. How do I post an item with "free ship"?

You just check off "Free Shipping" in the listing.
But you need to make sure you're adding the projected shipping cost into the item price or else you're on a course to lose money.
For instance, if you list an item for $30 plus $10 shipping, you'd list that item for $40 if you are offering F/S.

In the domestic shipping section, click on the plus sign for 'add service', choose the service you want to use for free shipping. Once you have chosen it you should see a toggle button to turn free shipping on or off.

Select the type of shipping you want to use then click Free shipping
Make sure to incorporate the cost of shipping into the price of the item.

You are still able to use the old listing page?

On the "New and Improved!" eBay Listing Page:
Click that little slider thing for free shipping under Domestic Shipping.
And btw...I actually like the "New and Improved" eBay Listing Page for some reason...

No. I'm stuck with the new listing format like everyone else.

Ohhh...I took mine from the Create Listing or Sell Similar listing page. That is what mine looks like every time I list so I can't say I fall into the "same listing format as everyone else."
But I guess I've always walked to the beat of a different drummer...or however that saying goes. I never could walk/run in cadence with all the other troops while in basic training which led to interesting interactions with the drill sergeants.
