Shipping Photographs via eBay Standard Envelope Program

Was perusing another posting regarding this topic... curious if anyone else has noticed this or has had success shipping photos using eBay's standard envelope and pricing.

Long story short, while the eBay information page does not mention photographs as a qualifying category, the linked spreadsheet on that page DOES.

As you can see, the Main Category (column A) does not match the correct path listed in column B, but photos are definitely listed on eBay's approved list of categories. This would be a huge money saver for sellers and customers alike if correct.

So, has anyone sold photos using the standard envelope program and successfully chose this as a shipping option when packing the order?

@sanfordsherman

Keep in mind that the eBay Standard Envelope (ESE) is required to be VERY flexible, particularly in regards to shooting at high speeds through a very complex series of rollers in the sorting machines, sometimes necessitating nearly bending the ESE in half.

Now think about how damaging that could be to a very fragile photograph.

No thanks -- I'll stick with Ground Advantage for photos.

I too have some smaller low value photos that could easily be shipped in a simple envelope with a stamp and wish there was a category to list where they would be eligible for ESE.  I would not fear that they would be damaged by the machinery.  Interestingly, I have one small photo listed that shows it is eligible for ESE and another in the same category that is not eligible.
