Shipping Exemption Exception for Particular Item

I’ve now added restrictions for non Contiguous U.S. buyers, however, I would like to allow international shipping to Japan only for a particular item (i.e., one item).  Not for a particular buyer because it has not sold but for the item itself so it can sell to Japanese buyers,  Can I do that?

Yes, you should be able to allow a sale to only Japan in the shipping options.  I do that on the rare occasion when I have a vintage clothing item that I know will sell higher in Japan than here in the US.

Not sure about the Japan thing but why would you exclude shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, PO Boxes and  US Protectorates when you are using USPS to ship? They all have domestic zip codes.

Those flat rate PM packages cost the same to all zip codes.  You are restricting needlessly. I could understand that if you were using FedEx or UPS  but when you ship USPS there's no reason to exclude them.

Also you are offering Parcel Select which eBay won't let you make a label for that method and it's not that much different in price to go Priority Mail when the package is lightweight. (yours are)

You get free supplies and insurance and it gets there in a couple of days instead of a couple of weeks. Well worth the price difference.

Why not ship to Hawaii and Alaska?  Flat rate boxes literally mean the same to ALL of the United States.

Yes, you can set your exclusions to only allow buyers in Japan to purchase and item.
