With 390 positive feedback, all free shipping, how can my feedback score for shipping costs be 359? Is it due to returned items? We don't offer free returns. eBay issues return labels. We don't.

Feedback and "stars" are a different thing.
The star categories are not always rated by a buyer.
When there is free shipping the stars are automatically left for shipping.
example............. your "accurate description" is only 335, but it is 5 out of 5.

Returns would not affect your feedback score.
In the past year, you have received about 20 feedback as a buyer. Those would be included in the 390 but of course wouldn't have DSR "star" ratings.
IIRC, the time period for your feedback score is not exactly the same as for the DSR's: One is based on the selling date, and the other on the date when the feedback was left. So that could also account for different numbers.

Thanks. Knew that for many, many years. Where I'm confused is Free Shipping is 5 star automated by eBay, so in what new math does 390 = 359?

Maybe buyers don't want to leave you a neg, so they just don't leave feedback at all.

This ^^^^^^ as Nobody posted...............
Only FB from "your" buyers count towards the DSRs......the FB you achieve from your buying activity still shows, but does not count towards the DSRs.

If you look closer your also have FB as a buyer rolled into that 390 FB for the the last 12 months.
Count up how many FB you received as a seller for the last (rolling) year.
Don't think that eBay counts the five stars for shipping cost unless the buyer leaves FB for the other stars.
Wouldn't really worry about your FB ratings unless you have a lots of red hickies. Today FB ratings and a nickle won't buy you a cup of coffee EXCEPT at Wall Drug in Wall, South Dakota - and the price hasn't gone up since 1976 - last time I stopped there.

I didn't think that I offered free return labels either, LOL. Not only are you paying for those ebay issued return shipping labels, ebay is making a very high margin on them.

I had a buyer claim that my product smelled like smoke, even though this is a smoke free building, and I am the only one in this unit, I don't smoke. I disputed the feedback with eBay, and also did a seller protection case on the buyer. ebay sent me the same cookie-cutter letter that they always do, except this time it actually had the name of the last ebay seller that they had sent it to. They wouldn't remove the feedback, LOL. That was the last day that I had an active listing on ebay. Which reminds me, I have to cancel my ebay store subscription

Stars can be left with feedback.
Feedback can be left without a "star" rating.
With "free shipping" a 5 star rating generally auto displays.
Leaving no feedback does not display any #'s, or stars in the "feedback ratings" that the OP is posting about.
Where the 12 missing star ratings are is a mystery.

LOL Are you serious? I get feedback extorted a couple times a week and then I turn off my store and come hang out here for a while. I love ebay, but ebay doesn't seem to care that much about it.

I think buyers of commodities tend to not always leave feedback as opposed to sellers of collectibles or unique items. You have received 6,039 fb but have left 12,664. That does seem a bit lopsided!
