After several months of shipping postcards using eBay's standard envelope without any problems, one of my shipments a couple of months ago was delivered weeks after being shipped. That's how I learned how useless the "tracking numbers" were when I attempted to locate the envelope. Although his payment was released, the status of this order still needs to be updated to reflect delivery. Subsequently, two more shipments to buyers who received their order and where payment was released have yet to be updated to reflect delivery. Is this happening to others, and do I need to be concerned? I am viewing the order status in seller hub-orders-all orders. I have yet to open an eBay store. Could this be the problem?

Having a store makes no difference.
As long as the buyer doesn't file an INR, I wouldn't worry about it.
Tracking on the ESE doesn't work like regular tracking.

A problem in what way?
As long as your are shipping on time and it is getting validated, the lack of a delivery scan is not an issue unless the items are not actually getting delivered and your buyers are claiming a problem.
