Sharing a happy tale

Wanted to share with other ebay sellers.  I'm a small time seller/buyer on ebay.  I had a buyer pick up a couple things from me and was very happy with them.  About a week ago I received an email thru ebay from this buyer asking if I'd like what jewelry she/he had, as they always liked what they received and what I listed.  I of course asked how much, will it be a lot etc., replied no, you can have it, no charge!  Replied to make sure this is what they really wanted to do and they said yes, wanted to get away from it (assuming ebay) for awhile.   I said yes and received a shoe box full of jewelry, some signed, all very nice.  They would take NOTHING for it, no reimbursement of shipping NOTHING!    I was so darned surprised and tickled I just had to share.   There are some great people out there!

That is a great story.  It reminds me of a story during hurricain katrina.  We were selling martigraw coins and this guy had all this info and shared with us .  Come to find out he was in houston at a home that took him inn because he lost his home.  We got to talking and realized he had lost everything.  So we sent him a box full of jewelry and coins loops and books so he would have something for free.  He was probably the happiest little camper in houston when he got the box.  We still hear from him time to time and has bounced back now.  He has his own store on ebay and is a great seller.  Best regards

Uh, I live a block off St. Charles in the Garden District. The parade comes to me. Some people here get mad if you don't call it Shrove Tuesday.
