Serious Issue with eBay Drafts

Anyone else still have drafts disappearing? We have been using the same system for over 2 years and never had a problem until this year. Currently have 269 drafts, added 7 and listed 2. Still shows 269 drafts.

I didn't notice eBay was deleting hundreds of drafts for the last 3 months until recently! I thought maybe there is a limit on the drafts but it happens when we have 100, 150, 200, and 250. Not close to expiration date either. They are always finished in less than 30 days. I haven't changed anything we are doing and it's wasting countless hours of work and the money I'm paying the listers.

I think the drafts disappear about 30 days after.

Thank you for the reply but I already stated we finish them before 30 days and it hasn't been an issue since we started this system in Jan 2021. Issue started around Dec-Jan. Also with the update they expire in 75 days now (allegedly).

I don't use eBay's Drafts, but I do keep copies of all my pictures and all my descriptions, along with my standard HTML coding in desktop files.

What I have complained about for decades, is that listings disappear without notice.

I sell books, a long tail category, and have often found titles on my Listed shelves that are not on eBay.

• Every now and again, I will take a shelf and compare what is there with what is actually showing on eBay.  I started doing this to make sure my pricing was correct.
• When we dotCA members were told we could no longer list on the Canadian site in US dollars I did a major (1000+ titles) overhaul.  More than 100 books were missing entirely.
• And when we sold our house, I did another over haul and found nearly a third of my titles had been dropped.

Trust but verify.

I use drafts too.    I thought the time limit was 75 days.   Fortunately I haven't lost any, that I'm aware of.

I do keep all the pictures until items are sold and yes items do disappear off of eBay occasionally but not as bad as this. I no longer put much in the description unless the item is very expensive or requires it. Not many buyers read it and more typing makes listing slower.

Update: I finally finished going through 13,000 pictures and picking out the items that had the drafts deleted. came out to 1900 pictures (about 400 listings). Never figured out what happened but I'm sure it was another eBay glitch as usual. We haven't changed anything and we have been using the drafts system for 3 years. It hasn't been happening anymore thankfully.

The listers can put out 30-40 drafts a day so they pile up quick if I'm busy. I can list up to about 50 a day so 200 is only about a week to week and a half supply.
