Sending an invoice

I have sold an item, but have not been paid yet. I want to reduce the shipping costs. I thought I could do that on the invoice, but the drop-down menu doesn’t have the option to send an invoice. What am I doing wrong?

Sending an invoice

If it was an eBay International Shipping sale you will not be able to send an invoice.

Buyers have 4 days to pay, on the 5th if they have not paid, cancel the sale for nonpayment. Every time you send an invoice it resets the clock. eBay sends enough reminders to pay, if they were going to pay (they saw the shipping cost when they hit the buy button), they would have by now. If it is past 4 days, I suggest canceling the sale and adding them to your blocked buyers list. Buyers can't be forced to pay.

@mbztreasures

Ebay usually sends an invoice after the auction.  Buyers have 4 days to pay.  If they don't on day 5 cancel the sale citing non payment and then block them.  Hopefully they'll pay soon and then ship.   Congrats on your sale!

Happy Selling

Sending an invoice

The buyer’s profile said he’s located in the USA. Is there any other way for me to send an invoice with adjusted shipping costs?

After customer pays for item you can give customer "shipping discount".    After you ship this item go to ORDERS, ALL ORDERS (click down arrow and selecting SEND REFUND) enter discount amount under "shipping discount").

I remember reading a while ago that ebay changed the invoice option so that you could not send one unless there was more than one item purchased.  But I haven't read anything about it lately so I'm not sure if that is still the case.

Where are you looking for the option to send an invoice? Are you in sellers hub / awaiting payment?

That's where I would look.
