Sending a BUYER a OFFER

I the SELLER have received a message from a BUYER who wants to pay a lower price...I the SELLER agree...Now where on the message the BUYER sent to me, is the link to click "Send a offer directly to member"...I can't find it to send the offer to the buyer.

If the buyer sent you an eBay message in reference to the item, there should be a link where you can respond to the message with an offer.

I looked and still cannot find the link...whereabouts on the page would the link be located?

Sending a BUYER a OFFER

There is no link stating "SEND AN OFFER DIRECTLY TO MEMBER"...I've looked at the whole page and there's no link such as...Where is it?...Could it be the BUYER made a earlier low bid price and I declined, and then responded with a counter offer which we now both agree on.

I also had the Send Offer button disappear. The buyer and i were negotiating a price so there were multiple messages between us. The ability to send the official offer was only in the first, and not subsequent messages. Very frustrating. I had to revise the listing to add the Best Offer option and closed the sale in that way.

EXACTLY-fashunu4eeuh, that is what I'm currently going through...E-Bay makes things so frustrating at times.

The link is only on the first email you send to the buyer, then it disappears.

That is how it works.

I fyou don't have the link, why not just revise the listing to a higher price, add Best Offer to the listing, and tell the buyer you will accept their Best Offer of  whatever if they submit it within 24 hrs?

Or you could revise the price on a fixed price, immediate payment required listing, and tell the buyer it will be at that special price for 24 hrs, then will be revised back to your original price?  This way is best because you then get immediate payment.

Why is this so hard? I had something listed for $60 and got a message asking if I would take $50. I revised the listing to change the price to $50 and messaged the buyer back that I did so. Soon after, he bought it.
