off my sales report, im showing that something happened on april 24th with ebay, and from that point on till right now, may 3rd, it has not been corrected...my sales are dropping about 40 percent from that date!!!.....since everything up till may 3rd has been the same, the drop in sales is obviously due to ebay system, again they went online with their new shopping experience...i think were hosed...working on a work around solution...

Yes, for us too. Started April 20 or so. Our sales have dropped 80%. Let me know if anyone has any ideas.

Pretty steady sales for 27 days, then zero sales during the next 5. Cassini flipped a switch and my sales flatlined on April 28th. Listing every day, running a sale, offering 30 day returns... nothing is working. I've even got a few promoted listings, although I consider that Ebay fee extortion.

crickets for the past several days.

Getting limited sales now! But I had to resort to pratically giving stuff away to get these sales! Sales showing on chart for May 2nd are just from $3.99 starting price auctions ending and that was just to try and recoup some of my money back to thin out my inventory. I even had to resort to marking down fixed price items to 65% off making stuff that once sold just a few weeks ago at much higher prices, now I'm lucky to move 1 per day with the 65% off mark down. Just weeks ago had I did a sale like this I'd be so busy packaging and printing off lables I wouldn't have time for anything else in my day. Just really sad! I'm seeing a leveling back down to a basic store in the immediate future! Needing to re-think how to survive on here and just have a very limited quanity of items, especially clothing as it really seems like all the newbies getting drawn to it from YT/ebay influencers are further tanking this category. Stuff that was once bread and butter is not worth the time to source , prep. for listing. I can only hold at hope that these newbies that were drawn in will see just how hard it is and throw in the towel quickly! lol... Just so aggravating because it seems like once you re-think stragies and change course to something you think will work better on here that even stops working in such a short time, faster than you can source the better items and get them up really!

You are right about this. Those YouTube channels imply that anyone can make 6 figures working part time and having fun. With all the competition they are generating, the only ones making money it seems the guys and gals producing the YouTube channels. 🙂
(I've only seen two of those channels that actually know what they are talking about, and give good advice).
If it is any consolation, I saw a video yesterday that said that in a one year period something like 95% of new resellers had quit.

So how are your sales?

Seeing the same results as everyone else on dismal sales since mid-April. For the first time I actually got more net profits from Az even with all the extra fees, than with Eb. Also non-payments on accepted offers and, as of this week seeing more CANCELLATIONS than I've seen in the past EVER. Three just between yesterday and today. They place the order, pay, and then turn around and want to cancel before I even have a chance to print out the picking slip. Is this anything to do with the new listings format? Or is the new procedure confusing to buyers in some way causing them not to buy at all in most cases? Of is it the "You could have found this cheaper elsewhere" 🙂 listings after they buy? I noticed a major bug on the seller side of their app today too with displaying cancellation notices when you click on non-cancelled items!
I haven't seen any of the usual braggart youtubers addressing the reduced sales and major changes topic so my guess (tongue in cheek as usual - of course 😉 ) is Ebay is channeling all the traffic to these youtubers so they'll play up the Ebay Open conference coming up and get more people to pay the outrageous entry fee just to attend hoping to find out what they are "doing wrong" (nothing really). Have those of you NOT experiencing the slow down by any chance signed up to attend Ebay Open? Google's "Adsense in Your City" (akin to Ebay Open) used to be free to everyone who signed up and they handed out free stuff, came to multiple cities around the country and UK, and actually gave valuable info... to all - hint, hint - Although getting a direct line to Ebay Concierge service last year for those able to afford the $299 + airfare/hotel to attend would have probably been worth it over this past year. Just another example though of not being a level playing field as earlier mentioned. I even live close enough to drive and commute daily, but I'm not going, just for the principal of it. And too busy listing new items to socialize with those --- who can now afford to take time off after the great sales this week...
Definitely somethind Odd going on though. See ya, heading off to start a Youtube channel so I can get me some sales!

It Is Very Frustrating, I've Contacted eBay Numerous Times And ALL I Receive Is Scripted Replies From Their Foreign-Based Answering Center. We Went From Selling $80.00 To $100.00 Per Day In Merchandise Several Weeks Ago To Appalling Daily Sales, Something Is Wrong On eBay. We Have Over 2200 Items Listed And Have ALWAYS Had Robust Sales Each Week. Is Anyone Else Experiencing The Same Problems ????

Yes, terrible!!!

I would like to know too where that information is coming from. I have been sellling on eBay since 2007 and it seems to be gettting worse and worse. I'm down 30.1% in sales on eBay while I'm up on Amazon 12.6% same items with higher prices. Ridiculous! I said this on my last post that eBay is not keeping to what eBay knows best. eBay is trying to chase Amazon.
eBay, please keep to the business plan that had worked for you over time. Just because the other guy is making more money doesn't mean you start trying to do everything their way. There is something unique about you that appeals to both your sellers and buyers. Keep to that!!! Change only what matters.
