Here's a tip for you eBay - how about you stop sending me a selling tips message each time after I leave a comment here on poor sales & YOU just make your site better for sellers again! lol How about you bring back the buyers so, sellers can make REAL MONEY here! Hmmm? Just a thought. Good luck to us all. 🙂

I do not even read the useless tips.

If you're getting tips on how to get items sold it could be because you are not selling items. It may be beneficial to at least take a look and possibly use some of the tips. You can ignore them, but continuing to do what you're doing without change will not make buyers magically appear.

My sales are usually excellent. September was the worst I have had in a long time. However I was out of town for 3 weeks with extended handling times. this may explain the poor sales.
I do not read anything ebay suggests. it is usually to their benefit only.

The difference is you say normally your sales are excellent. It is not always just for eBay's benefit. Some people come here weekly saying they are not selling anything and have poor sales. When it gets to that point something needs to change, so for some it could be useful to read those tips.

Agreed that doing the same thing and expecting different results is just nuts. However I disagree that ANYTHING e bay suggests is helpful to the majority of sellers.
I have been selling since about 2002. Took a break in 2008 for 18 months because of being so upset over all of the changes.
When I came back I decided to do what is BEST for ME. I also took a different look at stressful situations. It is business and not personal. E Bay never has the sellers best interest at the core of their decisions.

LOL! 1 of their tips was to drop my prices. The example they gave was an item selling for $5.95. My was listed for $6.00 OBO. So, if I dropped it by a nickel, automatic sale?? haha

PS - I have sales almost every day BUT, $10-20-30 a day isn't going to make any difference in trying to pay bills & fees. Luckily, I don't throw all of my eggs into 1 basket and, sometimes, other venues help me get by.

I agree. Started selling in Etsy in March 2018. GREAT response. NEVER a return or scam and no serious glitches that I have been aware of. Poshmark is OK...but I am just not into all of that social media carp.

The last post you wrote I showed you 3 items that where double of other sellers.

I just appeared, but not where I used to be frequently ... buying on eBay.
Instead ... I'm here, in support of the OP and Sellers & Buyers, who have concerns they want addressed by eBay.
