Yes, I have acquired a large roll of poly pipe. It’s too bulky and way to heavy to ship. Can you sell something by the foot on EBay? If so is there a link to show you how to list it? Thx for any assistance.

Set up a fixed price listing with 1 foot = a quantity of 1
Buyers can select from the quantity as to how many feet they want.

Yes, this exactly. And when you set up the listing, in the Pricing section the "Quantity" is the total number of feet that you have to sell. Then each time you make a sale, that number purchased will be subtracted from the "Quantity available" that is shown on the listing.

Do some serious homework on the shipping cost as the weight and possibly the size of the box may vary as you add feet.

Good thing to recognize BEFORE you list.
You can sell for Local Pickup and while the buyer can still pay online, you can get a QR code to confirm payment and delivery.
Also probably best to cut when the customer is present.
Because Local Pickup is notorious for slow arrivals and no-shows.

I am having similar issues. Without a eBay Store, can I sell giving Buyers an option of purchasing by the foot, without it adding to my flat shipping Fee (selected by me)?
Example. I enter that I have 60 feet. I price it at $2 a foot. I price the flat shipping cost at $6.35. I want this shipping price to remain the same for the Buyer, whether they Buy 1 foot or all 60 feet.
The way it is for me now, as far as I can tell before going Live with my listing. For each 1 foot a buyer orders, it will add $6.35 to each foot they order.
I don't want to have to explain this issue in the listing, and tell potential buyers to ask me for a refund, for part of their payment, due to this issue I am having.
I want buyers to have the option of purchasing any length, and have to only pay my flat shipping price.
I hope I am being clear on this? : - )
I do not have a store right now, and seem to vaguely remember this being a 'eBay Store' only option. Could this be true, or?

You don't need a store to set up a shipping rule which states zero additional shipping cost for each additional item purchased.

I am thinking this over. Seems to me if I wanted 12 feet, and I got sent 12 one foot sections, I would not be happy.
At the same time, selling 12 foot running feet (one piece) may have shipping issues.

Most sellers will specify that the purchase will be sent as one continuous length. In this case, the seller has specified, "You can order as many feet as you would like (up to 60 feet), and it will arrive to you in one long piece, of the length/count you have purchased."

I must have misunderstood. I thought the OP was ASKING. I did not realize @chgod811 already had it for sale.

The item was listed today, probably after the poster got some answers on this thread.

Why not just sell it local and be done with it?

Oddly, I cannot see the listing.
Hopefully the OP has determined that 60 feet in one order is an acceptable/manageable amount weight and dimension wise.
