Selling multiple items and calculating shipping costs correctly.

I have an item that a buyer wants to purchase a quantity of 18 and they come in cases of 6, so can I rely on the Ebay program to correctly calculate the shipping costs and how do I get 3 shipping labels ?

Is it a quantity of 18 under one order number?

Yes, he would be buying all 18 at one time. Maybe I'm not understanding ?

Not sure I totally understand your question but it looks like you are saying the buyer is wanting to buy 3 individual lots that contain 6 units each. If you have the listing setup correctly as far as the size and weight of each package that contains the six units then the shipping calculation to the buyer should be correct.

As far as the three labels pretty simply you will have 3 individual sales of 3 lots that contain 6 units each. You will purchase and print a shipping label for each lot.

Thanks for your reply dbfolks166mt !

That makes sense, but presently the listing is set up for selling as an individual item. So I would think when he enters a quantity of 18 the shipping is not going to be correct. Do I need to create a new listing for a case of six, but I would think that will still be an issue when someone purchases more than one case ?
